Testimonial

‘I've been to a lot of presentations ostensibly intended to market a product and I have to say that Matt's preso last week was the best I have ever experienced. Too hard to explain all the reasons why, but it was refreshing to see a business with an holistic approach, along with a direct selling message that didn't include a whole bunch of sleazy, self-promoting pfaff.’

Andrew Bennett

SENIOR MANAGER ORG DEV'T & TALENT - IAG

Presenter: Matt Linnert, Co-Founder and Creative Director, innergi & Consulting Director, Linnerts

If you want to be a leader in the field of employee wellbeing, then assessing the merits and commercial opportunities for growing the financial wellbeing of your employees is a “must do”.

Current research shows the extent of financial ill health in the Australian community is significant - 70% of Australian couples experience conflict over money, 86% of individuals saying they should know more about personal finance than what they do, and 95% say they experience difficulties with managing money.

Financial stress leads to significant mental, emotional and physical costs to the individual, and in turn, the organisations they are a part of.

Financial stress leads to significant mental, emotional and physical costs to the individual, and in turn, the organisations they are a part of. Such costs include reduced employee productivity, staff turnover, absenteeism, presenteeism, and at worse, theft and fraud.

In this workshop, Matt will share a light hearted look at the serious challenge of raising financial wellbeing in Australia, including an overview of the strategies which leading organisations are using today and are predicted to use in the near future.

There will be a light breakfast served from 7.15 to 7.35. Presentation starts at 7.40 sharp.

HR Club Sydney

HR Club Sydney is a community based project to encourage conversation and discussion of all things HR in a casual and informal setting. I started this club (community group) initially because I was inspired by the Social Media Club Sydney events where people got together for a drink and talk about what’s happening in the industry and learn from each other.

I think in HR we don’t always network as well as we could, nor do we share our experiences enough to prevent people from re-inventing the wheel. We could turn workplaces into great places to work if we were able to share what we knew and collaborate more.
